A few days ago we reported a rumor that rumored that Samsung may have canceled the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 of next October and the Galaxy S21 FE along with it. Samsung is now confirming the alleged cancellation of the S21 FE eliminating all traces of the smartphone.
Samsung has eliminated all evidence of the Galaxy S21 FE
It looks just like that Samsung wants to cancel all tests of the Galaxy S21 FE as the company started deleting any official traces of the smartphone. The phone had leaked a couple of times through some user manuals and even appeared on the company’s website. However on Samsung’s sites in different regions such as Hong Kong, Singapore and South Africa the pages have been removed and you get an error stating that the link is no longer available.
There is also the possibility that Samsung is considering moving the smartphone announcement, but clues suggest that the S21 Fan Edition version is no longer in the company’s plans. And that makes sense, to be honest. The basic version of the Galaxy S21 is already quite affordable and releasing a minor version would make no sense.
Furthermore Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are selling a lot and Samsung is also preparing for the Galaxy S22 series. In the midst of all of this, it must be remembered that we are also experiencing a global chip shortage. Hence, deleting the Fan Edition smartphone seems like a wise choice.
Obviously, there are currently no official confirmations from Samsung, so the cancellation of the smartphone is our hypothesis born from various clues that do not leave much room for the imagination. We would certainly know more in the coming days: October is around the corner and more news would surely come in case Samsung plans to announce the phone.
