Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced the global launch of the entire 2023 Smart Monitor line-up. Samsung’s new M8, M7 and M5 Smart Monitors (model names: M80C, M70C, M50C) allow users to adapt your monitor to the style and needs of those who use it for gaming, work or entertainment.

The complete line-up includes nine versatile monitors to suit the needs and style of all users. The M8, M7 and M5 Smart Monitors are available in a large variety of colors and sizes. The M8 and M7 models are available in 32″ size, while the M5 model is available in both 32″ and 27″ size. The M8 with UHD resolution and 400nit brightness is available in Warm White, Daylight Blue, Sunset Pink and Spring Green colors. The M7 with UHD resolution and 300nit brightness is available in Warm White. While the M5 with Full HD resolution is available in elegant Black or White colors.
Featuring a new Iconic Slim Design, the M8 and M7 models are extremely slim, measuring 11.39 mm thick at the thinnest point of the monitor. To enhance the look of the monitor and its surroundings, an elegant herringbone pattern has been applied to the back of both the M8 and M7 models. The height-adjustable stand with tilt support allows M8 users to adjust the angle whenever they need to. While creating a clutter-free environment. The screen can be rotated 90 degrees for easier viewing of long files.

Smart Monitor M8 2023 has many function upgrades and enhancements compared to the previous generation. Featuring 4K resolution, HDR 10+, and 400nit brightness, the M8 delivers brilliant, vivid images to deliver the best of smart entertainment in one monitor. With M8 you can easily access Samsung Gaming Hub. This is the built-in streaming platform, as well as a Smart Hub for services like Prime Video, Netflix and YouTube. Both M8 and M7 also support color coverage of up to 99% of the sRGB color gamut, giving designers and creators the ability to view content in brilliant color.
Monitors that guarantee maximum productivity
The 2023 line-up has been improved to make working remotely smooth and hassle-free. The workstation allows remote access thanks to the wireless connection and PC mirroring. The M8 features a magnetic, detachable camera that allows users to connect wirelessly without the need for any additional accessories.
The SlimFit camera supports FHD resolution and video conferencing capabilities. Users can now connect to Google Meet and other applications using Auto Framing features for more effective meetings. In addition, the Multi View feature has been updated and allows you to use Microsoft 365 and the Browser app in full screen mode to reduce the number of switches between apps.
To streamline the interface of the 2023 Smart Monitors, mouse and keyboard control functionality has been added to several apps, including SmartThings and Smart Hub. Users can therefore maintain full control, while enjoying their favorite content without the need to use a remote control.
Advanced level monitor with customized functions
Users can easily control all home IoT devices from a single monitor thanks to the integrated IoT Hub, which supports Zigbee and Thread. The M8 and M7 both include built-in voice assistants, including Bixby and Amazon Alexa, which allows users to control the monitor with their voice. The built-in microphone in the M8 and M7 also supports remote voice control, allowing users to speak directly to the monitor.
The new My Contents feature, now available across the entire 2023 Smart Monitor range, allows users to quickly access useful information. When the monitor is in standby mode and detects a smartphone registered via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), the screen lights up showing user photos, weather and more at a glance. The monitor resumes standby mode when the smartphone is out of range.
