What is the collaboration between SAP and New Zealand Rugby?
The agreement aims to innovate and optimize four key areas of the New Zealand rugby industry. These are: Organization, Team Performance, Fan Experience and Sustainability. Here are the four points as explained by the NZR itself in an official statement:
- Operations for the organization: a new digital hub of SAP solutions will allow the creation of interconnected systems. These will ensure NZR harnesses the power of its systems and off-field data to better support teams engaged in the field.
- Team performance: By implementing SAP SuccessFactors NZR intends to improve the employee experience.
- Fan experience: Create new ways to connect and interact with NZR’s local and global fanbase, while also leveraging new technologies and platforms that allow fans to be close to their favorite teams and players.
- Sustainability: leverage digital solutions and capabilities that allow NZR to holistically manage its sustainability performance while supporting the broader ESG (Environmental, Social & Corporate Governance) strategy.
