The proud cliff of Rare's buccaneers is ready for trials behind closed doors: here's when the closed beta of Sea of Thieves on PS5 will take place
In addition to the promise of cross-progression and the possibility of using servers exclusive to Sony, Rare confirmed for Sea of Thieves also the dates on which it will be available closed beta for the version PS5 of the game. Mark it on your calendar: the dancing will open next Friday, on April 12and then the curtain (or the sail?) falls Monday 15th. Access will be limited to edition users Premium e Deluxe (not to be confused with PlayStation Plus). While carrying out the tests, trophies will be disabled, although your progress will carry over into the full game. The Pirate Emporium will similarly not be available, and the game will (understandably) be limited to Sony users only.

What do we know about the Sea of Thieves closed beta on PS5?
The Emporium will be missing, yes, but not the money obtainable: the in-game currency of Sea of Thieves, in fact, can be accumulated during the closed beta, and the same goes for the cosmetics of season 11 also arriving for the PS5 version . However, the rewards for taking part in the trial period are not limited to this. Ten levels of experience (Fama) valid for season 12 they will in fact be redeemable for participants. The ship, on PlayStation platforms, will be ready to sail on April 30th, with the latest season launching on the exact same day. The 25 of the month, however, the lucky owners of the Premium edition will be able to leave early with theearly access.
