Billy Goat x Secret Mode: plans for the future
With an announcement today, publisher Secret Mode has confirmed its partnership with Billy Goat Entertainment (BGE), a video game development studio based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The collaboration will lead to the release of a new action game for PC and console, which would already be in development. The release could arrive – according to the official statement – by the end of 2022.
“Recognized for his fantastic work on Her Majesty’s SPIFFING, BGE represents one of the most talented studios in the whole of the UK,” says James Schall, Publishing Director of Secret Mode. “Comedy and satire are hard to master in the gaming realm, but they do it perfectly. We are proud to start this partnership, ”concluded Schall.
The collaboration will bring Her Majesty’s SPIFFING into the publisher’s catalog, which will release it for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and mobile. Celebrated by both media and fans for its edgy satire, the game first came out in 2016.
