We follow Lati around the subway in this new Serial Cleaners trailer, which reveals the new game map.
The new Serial Cleaners trailer: a map to be explored
In the new trailer for Serial Cleaners we see Latisha ‘Lati’ Thomas jumping and climbing around the subway. The announcement is actually quite clear: developers announced new map.
In Serial Cleaners, each map is faced by one of the four Cleaners using a different set of skills. Needless to say, given the context of the video, Lati’s skills here are perfect. The new map is in fact structured vertically, which allows it to best show its agility.
The backstory is also quite fascinating. In fact, Latisha Thomas is a recluse who tries to look after the people closest to her, all too often going against her common sense. Composed, even after taking the hole from his friends. Her strength of spirit did not go unnoticed by Bob who immediately took her under his wing. Unlike the latter, however, Lati he prefers to run away rather than hide. Use what’s around her to her advantage by jumping, climbing and pushing obstacles. Her musical tastes also speak volumes: she likes to clean up while listening to bands like A Tribe Called Quest, De la Soul and Souls of Mischief.
Draw Distance and the collaboration with 505 Games
The new map comes on the occasion of another important announcement for Draw Distance developers: that of the collaboration with 505 Games. The latter is an important publisher who will take care of bringing Serial Cleaners to players from all over the world.
We couldn’t be happier to join forces with our new partner. 505 Games is a publisher with a very varied and quality portfolio of titles. Being able to include Serial Cleaners on this list makes us proud, and we intend to organize a great campaign to jointly promote our 90s-style crime-themed stealth-action game across the world market. – he has declared Michał Mielcarek, CEO at Draw Distance.
“When we evaluate a new game we have parameters that we always look at, and these are for example: ‘Is the game fun?’ and ‘Is the developer talented?’ In the case of Serial Cleaners and Draw Distance, the answer was a firm ‘YES’. We are very happy to be able to bring this game to the general public and to work with Michał and his team, ”he said Neil Ralley, president of 505 Games.
Serial Cleaners will be available on Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store and also on consoles in 2022. This sequel is set after more than 20 years from the history of the original game, in a New York of the 90s, and the players will have to prepare to a healthy dose of nostalgia thanks to a graphic style inspired by Basquiat, as well as to a soundtrack inspired by those years composed by Joshua Eustis of Tel Aviv Phone, and of course a sarcastic and funny story.
