The protagonists of the film are two well-known faces of French cinema and beyond: François Cluzetprotagonist of one of the most loved films of the transalpine filmography as Almost Friends, and Audrey Lamy, who boasts a Cesar Award triumph in his career. The plot revolves around, as mentioned, Cathy, a 40-year-old cous-chef who cultivates the dream of opening a starred restaurant. However, the woman soon realizes all the difficulties that mark this world, between the need to make ends meet and all the organizational complications that arise.
So, to revive Cathy accepts a job outside the city in a canteen of a reception center for young migrants. The chef is initially very unenthusiastic about the new job, but over time, thanks to her passion and her skill in the kitchen, she becomes a point of reference for many young people who are also passionate about it. In her new role as mentor, Cathy will rediscover her love for cooking and establish a real friendship with those migrants with whom she shares the family work. A sweet and funny comedy, capable of giving an unprecedented look at the world of cooking.
