No infernal development for a paranormal remake: Bloober Team calms the restless souls for the long gestation of Silent Hill 2
The “development hell”, as the expression indicates, is a real hell (or rather, limbo) for the development of a video game: a situation, this, in which the remake started by Bloober Team it doesn’t seem to pour, which is why fans of Silent Hill 2 can collectively breathe a sigh of relief. The game was announced a year and a month ago by Konami. Since then, however, with the exception of the occasional content denial, the publisher has remained almost completely silent on the game. Which is why the team in charge of the restoration took the opportunity to clarify the issue on Twitter. Do you want the short version? The game will make use of Unreal Engine 5. In the initial trailer we had plenty of proof of this. Certainly, the salivation is tangible regarding the potential that the development team will bring out of it. Already last October we saw the PC requirements, such as an NVIDIA RTX2080 card for thirty frames per second at 1080p resolution. In June the voice actor of the protagonist spoke about early 2024 as an exit period. And since we are in the pre-Game Awards, the presence of a trailer on the red carpet at the beginning of December is to be hoped for. Nothing set in stone, of course, but now we know what interested us most: the game is not in development hell!
