“AAA, staff wanted”: Konami is stocking up on job offers, avalanche of hires expected for the future of the Silent Hill saga
We didn’t expect to open a news story using the Triple A as a metaphor for the use of the same acronym for advertisements linked to job offersma Konami has (positively) surprised us with the promise of multiple hires to increase the staff working on Silent Hill (in the sense of the IP itself). The publisher has been missing for a while when it comes to actual video games, but apparently the Japanese company is ready to re-establish its presence. In addition to projects such as Super Bomberman R 2 and Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection, the Japanese company has… resurrected the horror saga, with Bloober Team working on the remake of the second chapter, together with the spinoffs in development at No Code (Townfall) and NeoBards Entertainment (f).
The “Silent Production Team” is recruiting artists, planners, engineers, and project managers.
Please join us in this work, which has many fans overseas! A chance to be involved in game production in a cutting-edge development environment. https://t.co/yPTGKQQvfj— Konami Digital Entertainment mid-career recruitment (@KONAMI_career) November 10, 2023
Hoped-for hires and tweeted offers: the unknown “X” is the staff Konami wants to work on Silent Hill
According to the translations of the retweet you see above, Konami is looking for staff for projects related to Silent Hill on a large scale. “The Silent Production Team is looking for artists, planners, engineers and project managers,” the publisher wrote. “Join us to create works that are loved in the West too! [Questa è] a chance to get involved in video game production in a cutting-edge environment.” Beyond the collective salivation for new episodes of the series, the most important aspect that emerges from the post is the return to the origins, with the internal development of new games. What then it comes to The Short Messagethe most talked about episode of the saga ever leaked, is a different matter.
