According to some rumors, the Silent Hill could come back with more video games, including a remake and also a sequel. Let’s find out all the details together.

Rumors online about the Silent Hill franchise have been going on for years now, and have recently been rekindled by one series of screenshots leaked from a project in development of 2020 (and probably still in the works). A notification from Konami appears to indicate that those photos are genuine. However, it is said that there is more behind it.
According to the insider NateTheHatethere are several Silent Hill projects in the works, including a remake di Silent Hill 2 made by the Bloober Team (Observer, The Medium), a new main title it’s a shorter side story series.
Andy Robinson of Video Games Chronicle intervened to state that the rumors of NateTheHate correspond to what he heard. According to VGC, the Silent Hill 2 remake will feature a ‘artificial intelligence and from renewed enemy animationsda new puzzles and even from new endingswhich suggests that the game’s acclaimed story may be somehow rewritten.
This new version of SH2 might as well be a timed exclusive for PlayStation.
Going on, VGC says a complete sequel to Silent Hillwhich would be in the works at one Japanese study without a name. There is also a series of shorter episodic storieswith Annapurna Interactive being involved (or, at the very least, seems to have proposed something to Konami).
As for the screenshots we saw last week, they are said to come from a teaser in stile PT with the code name of Sakurawhich will be released for generate new enthusiasm for the long-dying franchise. Of course, take all this information with a grain of salt for now. The return of Silent Hill it seems closer than ever: we just have to wait and wait a little longer.
