According to Deadline, the TV series Silk: Spider Society, based on the character Cindy Moon, a character who was hinted at in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, will resume work in January, although there are some hiccups along the way. The writers room had already united before the writers’ strike began this summer, only to suffer a setback that lasted beyond the end of the strike. The WGA, in fact, has urged Amazon to restart the work, since the extension of the pause would violate the strike resolution agreements between the WGA and the AMPTP, but this that’s not the only problem the series is facing.

Another obstacle that the production of the series is facing is Amazon’s revaluation of the material. According to some sources, in fact, Amazon executives are currently analyzing what has been done so far by the production team led by Angela Kang, known for her work with the popular series The Walking Dead. Angela Kang joined the production team about a year ago, signing an overall agreement. The date of restarting work on the Cindy Moon TV series will depend on the evaluation by the streaming platform and, on what they say, the script will undergo changes. However, the series is still in the works and they have no intention of abandoning the project, this should be enough to reassure fans of the character about the creation of the TV series on Silk, even if, as we said, it is experiencing some problems.
