After a long wait, Mega Crit has finally officially announced Slay the Spire 2, the sequel to the exceptional card-based roguelike
If you are a lover of roguelike and gods card games then you will surely know well Slay the Spire. This title, developed by Mega Crit and published by Humble Bundle, it was a huge hit with gamers and remains to this day one of the best exponents of its genre.
While it's still an excellent title and a lot of fun to play, it's now been several years since the launch of Mega Crit's masterpiece and fans are eager to get their hands on something new. Luckily it seems that players' wishes will soon be granted, as the company has finally Slay the Spire 2 announced.
Slay the Spire 2 will arrive in early access and will bring many new features
During a recent showcase, Mega Crit finally officially announced Slay the Spire 2. This sequel will be set a thousand years after the first chapter and will bring many new features such as new enemies, new events and new ways to play. Furthermore, obviously many will be present new characterseach with their own unique cards and mechanicsbut some iconic characters such as he Silent and the Ironclad.
The title will be released on Steam Early Access sometime in 2025 and on the occasion of the reveal the team published a splendid one trailer which you can see at the bottom above. For the moment, no information has been revealed regarding one console version of the game but, as happened with the first chapter, it is likely that once the early access is over Mega Crit will also start thinking about other platforms.
