The photos in question portray the stunt double of Snow White and that of the prince (who in reality is not a prince!), in the company of the seven dwarfs. It was precisely on the latter that the controversies would have ignited, accused of being too distant in physical appearance, from those who have entered the collective imagination, both in terms of height and in terms of the ethnic diversification that seems to characterize them. Let’s face it, given the recent decisions made by the production company, who wouldn’t have expected a similar choice?
These photos have already reached the Disney top management, who have already expressed their opinion on the matter, claiming that the ones that have just circulated are unofficial images, which portray the stunt doubles and above all without post-production. Important phase for the final work, useful for giving the characters a more fairy-tale and less human aspect. Yes, because those we have always called dwarfs, in this film will be called “magical creatures”.
A more inclusive Snow White?
