Sonic fans, get ready to turn up the game volume. As part of the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog, SEGA is collaborating with the world-class artist, DJ and record producer Steve Aoki. All to organize a virtual concert on the occasion of his birthday, the November 30.
Set in Sonic’s digitally created immersive universe, this unique concert will transport audiences to iconic settings. These include Green Hill Zone, Chemical Plant and many more, to let loose to their favorite Sonic the Hedgehog jams. The artist’s 60-minute set will feature original tracks by Steve Aoki, as well as Aoki’s remixed versions of the game’s fan-favorite tracks from the 16-bit SEGA Genesis era to today. An event not to be missed, especially for the most nostalgic fans.
Fans will be able to watch the performance by tuning into Sonic the Hedgehog’s YouTube and Twitch channels on November 30, 2021 at 12PM PST.
