Sonos officially introduces its budget soundbar, Sonos Ray, available at a price of $ 279 in the United States. The device reportedly uses “advanced processing” to create a “surprisingly large stage”. Furthermore, the AirPlay support 2 allows wireless streaming from Apple devices like iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Here is Sonos Ray, the budget soundbar coming from next 7 June will be available in many countries around the world. United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and many others. The soundbar will be equipped with AirPlay 2 support, but this will not be the only novelty of the company. In fact, Sonos recently announced that it will launch its own voice control system for its speakersi.
This means users just say “Hey Sonos” to control compatible music services, including Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, Pandora and Sonos Radio. Sonos speakers already support Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, but users will now have access to the Sonos voice control as a third option. The new Sonos feature will arrive in the United States on June 1st. And in France it will be available later this year. Then, there will be many other countries, where users will be able to take advantage of an option that respects privacy and security.
