Marvel’s Avengers was the greatest game of Nixxes ever (the studio just acquired by Sony, also responsible for the Xbox port of Rise of The Tomb Raider). The founder of Nixxes, Jurjen Katsman, added: “We can’t wait to get to work and are so excited to bring our technical and development expertise to an IP powerhouse like PlayStation Studios. Financial terms of PlayStation’s acquisition of Nixxes were not disclosed “due to contractual commitments.” Sony may not be done with announcing new acquisitions, as a leak also hinted that PlayStation might acquire Bluepoint Games later, the developer of the Demon’s Souls remake.
Hulst reported in an interview that he doesn’t believe there is a “arms race”Going on right now between Sony and Microsoft when it comes to studio acquisitions (Microsoft has acquired ZeniMax with a $ 7.5 billion deal that it will bring Starfield exclusively on Xbox).
