Some time ago there were rumors about a new chapter dedicated to Spider-Man, but there has been nothing certain yet. Luckily now the confirmation has arrived, there will be Spider-Man 4 with Tom Holland!
Just a few months ago there was talk of a possible agreement between Sony and Disney for a new Spider-Man film, but there were many problems related to the plot decision. Sony wanted a multiverse movie again, including more characters from other movies, while Disney wanted more of a plot urbana, with more down-to-earth characters. Now it seems that they have reached an agreement and it was confirmed by Tom Holland himself. During an interview he in fact confessed to already be working on the fourth chapter and promises that they will make the film with their heart. What they did with Spider-Man: No Way Home (which we analyzed in this review) is something difficult to overcome, it is a film that they made truly demonstrating their love for the character. The British actor wanted to clarify that they will give a worthy plot to the film.

The most interesting thing is that this time Tom Holland has joined the creative team. A work experience, according to the British actor, very fun and educational. Holland explained how important theSpider-Man legacy. That's why the team is working hard to give audiences a good story to tell again, something that respects what they did with the third film. In fact this fourth chapter will be a new beginning, given how No Way Home ended. Regarding the plot of Spider-Man 4, Tom did not reveal anything to us, but specified:
We are actively engaging in conversations about what a fourth interpretation of my character might look like. Whether or not we can find a way to do the character justice is another thing. I feel very protective of Spider-Man. I feel very, very fortunate that we've been able to work on a franchise that's gotten better with each film, that's been more successful with each film, which I think is really rare, and I want to protect his legacy. So, I'm not going to make another one for the sake of making another one. It will have to be worth it for the character.
So with these words we hope that the story they decide to tell is worthy of the character. According to some rumors we should see other urban heroes of the caliber of Daredevil e Kate Bishop.
