After the success achieved in theaters last June; Sony reveals the official release date of the second chapter of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Based on the Marvel Ultimate comics; a new road in an unknown multiverse, through the adventures of Miles Morales’ Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and the digital version
Released in theaters last June; the film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse won the attention of the general public; grossing 660 million dollars against a budget of 100 million, confirming itself as the best success for Sony Animation. Sequel to the hit film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (winner of the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature); Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse resumes the adventures of Miles Morales, grappling with a multiverse full of dangers and characters equal to him. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, the friendly Brooklyn neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted into the Multiverse, where he meets a team of Spider-Man charged with protecting its existence. However, when the heroes clash over how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself up against the other versions of him. He will soon have to redefine what a hero means in order to save the people he loves most
The digital version will be available for purchase on streaming platforms such as Amazon Prime VideoiTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies & TV, starting August 8, 2023. DVD and Blu-ray release is scheduled for September 2023. The third chapter currently in progress Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Versemarked March 2024 as the release date.
