Spider-Man on Disney+: Which titles will be available?
Let’s try to understand better and precisely which films are available on Disney Plus, dedicated precisely to Spider-Man. Spider-Man fans will finally be able to see on Disney Plus the first great and iconic Spider-Man (2002), the film with Tobey Maguire, Kristen Dunst, James Franco and Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin, the villain. Let’s not forget that this is the first feature film directed by Sam Raimi. Its sequel will also be available, again directed by Raimi: Spider-Man 2 (2004), which sees the actor in the role of the villain, Doctor Octopus Alfred Molina. To complete the first trilogy with Maguire there is Spider-Man 3 (2007), in which the protagonist will have to face many shadows and close a narrative circle forever.
Movies featuring on Disney Plus follow Andrew Garfield. From today, August 18, both The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and The Amazing Spider-Man 2: The Power of Electro (2014) are available, respectively with the villains Rhys Ifans (Lizard) and Jamie Foxx. Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), directed and co-written by Jon Watts, in which the protagonist is played by Tom Holland: starting from this adventure will begin the series of films dedicated to the hero who fought alongside Iron Man with all the Avengers. We will have to wait to see the other films of the saga in the Disney catalog. It probably won’t be a long wait, considering that these are still movies from MCU and produced by the international giant.
