With an announcement on its site, Spotify has formalized the introduction of a new vertical scrolling feed.

What will the new Spotify feed look like?

After announcing last week the new functionality for Playlists, today Spotify announces the introduction of a new feed, very reminiscent of that of some social platforms. The idea is in fact to launch a new vertical scrolling layout, which will allow users to “scroll” through playlists, songs, albums and podcasts. The official blog also talks about a new feature called Blend, which will allow you to easily share your plays with friends and family. In addition, there is talk of new visual loops of Canvas, which will allow you to take the experience of music beyond just listening.

“To browse the new feed, swipe up or down on your custom choices to preview and see each song’s cover art. Did you come across an amazing song? You can add her to one of your playlists or follow the artist, all from one place, ”the blog reads. Currently all new features would be in the testing phase. So you won’t have to wait too long before you can try them for yourself.
