It almost doesn’t seem real, but season 2 of the acclaimed Korean series Squid Game is finally about to land on Netflix. The incredible, almost unexpected success that the series has found all over the world has created quite a bit of hype around the new episodes, especially because the plot was shrouded in mystery for a long time. Now, however, Netflix has decided to give us a small preview by spreading the news four images taken from the new season. Let’s take a look.
Squid Game: here are the first images of the second season
The first images released do not reveal much about this new season. These have as protagonist Gi-she, the winner of the deadly games, presented in the previous season. We see him here after abandoning the bright red haircut with which he was remembered in the final moments of last season’s finale. We can then notice the presence of Gong Yoothe lure of players and of Lee Byung-hun, i.e. the frontman. There is also room for a new face, a woman, holding the now iconic note left to potential players. Could this be a new participant in the deadly games?
Old and new acquaintances
Despite the great anticipation, there have been very few previews regarding the series in this long period of absence. There is still no clear news regarding the plot that will once again affect Gi-hun. However, we can announce which characters will definitely return in the new episodes. In addition to the protagonist Lee Jung Jae, we will also see again Lee Byung Hun, Hwang In-ho, Wi Ha-jun e Gong Yoo. They will also be joined by many new faces, including Yim Si-Wan, Kang Ha-Nuel, Park Sung-Hoon, Yang Dong-Geun, Park Gyu-Young, Jo Yu-Ri, Kang Ae-Sim, Lee David, Lee Jin-Uk, Choi Seung-Hyun, Roh Jae -Won and Won Ji-An.
