Asmussen also revealed to Game Informer that, in addition to the return of BD-1 e Cere Jundathere will be new characters, including Bode Akuna, a mercenary: “There’s a special bond between him and Cal. It’s almost as if they were brothers. They’re not exactly alike, but they complement each other,” Asmussen said. In the trailer, Bode is seen helping the protagonist not only in combat as an AI companion but also in movement.
For what concern gameplay di Star Wars Jedi Survivor new traversal methods will also be introduced, including a cable which will act as a grappling hook to climb and cross the overhangs. Furthermore, Cal will also be able to count on various mounts, as shown in the gameplay trailer. “The approach is that of a larger Metroidvania. Cal can traverse large spaces by chaining together different types of skills. But it’s also about how we approach these mounts and how they are used to negotiate and dominate the world.”
