During the latest State of Play Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was presented with a new trailer that showed lots of gameplay, exploration and a ton of costumes
The latest State of Play from Sony was supposed to be a conference dedicated exclusively to indies and titles developed by third parties, as announced via the Official Blog the day before, but apparently there was a small lack of communication. This is because exclusive Sony consoles also took to the stage, such as, for example, the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which will arrive on PS5 on October 20th. A title that Sony is really aiming for, as evidenced by the avalanche of trailers, news and press releases released over time.

Spider-Man, as we were saying, was also the protagonist of the State of Play last September 14th with a new, very extensive trailer. In the video material we were able to see flashes of gameplay, between combat and exploration, and the speed with which it will be possible to switch between Peter and Miles thanks to the PS5’s SSD. The fanservice celebration continued with the announcement of the presence, in the game, of 65 costumes to wear in more than 200 different ways. All suits will be derived from comics, films, TV series and much more.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the direct sequel to the adventure experienced in 2018 with the first chapter and third iteration of the Insomniac Games franchise after the 2020 standalone spin-off, Spider-Man: Miles Morales. As we said at the beginning, It’s an action-adventure that Sony is really focusing on, thanks to the affection that the fans have shown over time. And also, undoubtedly, strong in the attraction that a brand like Spider-Man has and has always had.
