Microsoft has announced the second wave of titles Xbox Game Studios compatible with Steam Deck. Seven new games have received the “Verified” badge, which means they should be fully playable with no issues either optimizations additional requests from developers. Four other games are playable, so they may require manual tweaks or controller mapping.

Here are the new verified games coming up Steam Deck di Xbox Game Studios:

  • Fable Anniversary.
  • Halo Wars: Definitive Edition.
  • Kalimba.
  • Halo: Spartan Strike.
  • RUSH: A Disney|Pixar Adventure.
  • Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition.
  • Killer Instinct.

These are the games that are currently only reproducible and which may require additional optimizations:

  • Minecraft Dungeons.
  • Gears Tactics.
  • Deadlight.
  • Halo: Spartan Assault.

Although Steam Deck uses PC-like hardware, the console’s quirky controls and the Linux operating system it is based on require Valve to check hundreds of games to make sure they work on your device. Valve has a dedicated Steam Deck compatibility page where users can check out verified, playable, unsupported and unknown games.

It’s also worth noting that Valve recently released a new Steam OS update that brought fTPM support, effectively making Steam Deck compatible with Windows 11which however provides a user experience that still leaves something to be desired.
