It has been confirmed by Sucker Punch herself that the Infamous and Sly Cooper titles are not currently in development. Let’s clarify the issue together
The news that Sucker Punch is not currently working on the development by Infamous and Sly Cooper. Communicated by the same software house with a post on their site, they stated that they are not currently focused on restyling two of their most famous sagas, but are working on a new future project. They also added that no other studios associated with them are currently on the project, but that nonetheless they do not exclude in the future to reappear on these two titles, particularly appreciated by fans.
Sucker Punch and Infamous and Sly Cooper development rumors
Fueling the rumors and rumors about Sucker Punch’s development for Infamous and Sly Cooper in recent times, there have been several leak anonymous on Twitter who even reported that the two titles were in production. While more recently, and perhaps more concrete than simple leaks, Sucker Punch had published several job offers and fans of the famous raccoon thief saga had thought of a new Sly, obviously wrong.
In the post of the denial published by Sucker Punch, they communicate that currently are working on the maintenance of the Infamous 2 UGC servers and the addition to the PSN of the DLC “Cole’s Legacy” from Infamous: Second Son, concluding the statement hoping that their fans will continue to follow them although for now they have no big news in Serbian for them. May their next title in the works be a sequel to the acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima? Surely it would be a way to make all players forget Sly Cooper or Infamous temporarily. What do you think?
