Sweet Transit is now available in early access on Steam

Team17 and Ernestas Norvaišas today announced that Sweet Transit, the new railway-based city builder, is now available for purchase in Early Access on Steam.

Players can purchase the base game priced at € 21.99while the Supporter’s Pack is available at the price of 26,98€. The latter includes the game and a digital version of its cheeky original soundtrack. But that’s not all: all purchases made during the launch week (this one) will be discounted by 10%with an additional 10% discount for all those who purchase the Supporter’s Pack.

What you need to know about Sweet Transit: from today in early access on Steam

The game takes us to a world where the railway is the only means of transportation and expansion. Players will then be able to use increasingly powerful trains and locomotives to build new settlements, create new and intricate production and connection lines, and turn what initially seem humble villages into metropolises. Sweet Transit will take us through the technological evolution of civilization, discovering the power of the combustion engine compared to steam.

After a successful beta, developer Ernestas Norvaišas worked closely with the community, listening to user feedback and implementing numerous features. To date Ernestas says he is excited to release a title designed for fans of strategy games and locomotives for PC.

“It’s only been a year and a half since I started developing this game on my own, working full time on a title I love,” said Ernestas Norvaišas. “I’m thrilled with today’s early access launch, as it means I can finally share Sweet Transit with the world. I can’t wait to continue working closely with the community and Team17, to make Sweet Transit a point of reference for fans “
