Bandai Namco and the developer AQUIRIA have recently announced that Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris for Nintendo Switch, in a version that will include the updates of the “Ancient Apostles” content. The RPG that first launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC on July 10, 2020, will land even on the Nintendo portable console, however, without any release date at the moment.

Publisher Bandai Namco along with developer AQUIRIA also have released an overview of what will be the details of the Switch version of Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris, these are:
- Play as your favorite characters from the Alicization story arc and explore the vast world of the Underworld for the first time with a handheld console
- Includes free updates of “Ancient Apostles” content
- Additional free and paid content will also be available in subsequent updates
Also earlier this week always Herds announced the latest downloadable content for the title, “Blooming of Matricaria” as well as publishing the trailer of the game for the Switch version, which you can see below.
Unlike the versions already present for the other platforms, on this new version we will have unprecedented events and battles and obviously there will be the protagonist Kirito and all the other characters born from the work of Reki Kawahara. We remind you that the title is available on other consoles and PCs from 10 July 2020, while for this version we don’t have one yet release date. What do you think?
