Talk to Me is the horror produced by A24 that was so successful in the United States that it is the phenomenon of the moment, now the sequel has already been announced
Talk to Me is another great success put in the bank by A24, the production house that in recent years has been in the spotlight after the huge successes of Moonlight and Everything Everywhere All at Once and The Whale, all Oscar winners, some of which literally made a clean sweep of the recent Oscars 2023. It is a new horror, which has been released in American theaters since July 28 and has literally conquered the public, grossing 23.2 million at the box office just for the debut.
Talk to Me: the horror of the moment will have a sequel
On the wave of this success, the production house has already announced the sequel, or a second chapter always directed by the brothers of the brothers Danny and Michael Philippou. The two director brothers really made their debut with this film, after they started their horror career with videos on youtube and short films in the horror comedy genre with billions of views. The title of the sequel will be Talk to Me 2 and obviously we don’t know the details yet, if not the confirmation of the director and the same creative team of the first film. The two directors also announced that they have enough material for a prequel as well, which is still part of what they have done for this first film. In short, Talk To Me has just come out and already seems close to becoming a horror franchise in the wake of some great cult classics.
In Italy we still have to wait until September 28 with the theatrical distribution of Midnight Factory. It will certainly be anxiously awaited, after this success which is echoing from the United States and which truly heralds a different horror film than usual.
