We’ve seen some encouraging signs in Mexico, even if the result wasn’t what we wanted. Oliver and Sacha worked well as a team, showing that we have a strong pair of drivers to build on for the season. We know we have a strong car and our goal for Diriyah is resolve any problems and get to the finish line without a hitch. […] We are excited to collaborate with Petromin Nissan for the championship race in Saudi Arabia. Represents a key partner in one of Nissan’s most important markets and we look forward to share emotions of Formula E with their customers during the event.

Diriyah is one of my favorite tracks on the Formula E calendar. Its blind corners and low margin of error they make driving exciting, and I have fond memories of it when I scored my first point in Formula E. Although the final result in Mexico it wasn’t what we wanted, we showed good pace in qualifying, so our preparation was focused on bring this performance back to the race too. Of course, this type of event is always challenging and tiringbut if we can work together to find the right rhythm in the two races, then I’m confident we can bring it home a nice haul of points.
Sacha Fenestraz, driver, Nissan Formula E Team.
The first event in Mexico was fundamental for accumulate experience and we collected a lot of positive data after a good comeback in the race. We will try to maintain this momentum, approaching the race with the utmost serenity. Diriyah is a difficult track to overtake on, so we have to maximize our performance in qualifying. Free practice will be important, to put us in a comfortable position ahead of the rest of the weekend. It’s nice run at nightis the only event of its kind of the season and the show is always great for the fansso I can’t wait to run!
