The events we will see will transport us back in time, to the 90s, the period in which Ted and John attended school. The show’s official synopsis reads:
Set in 1993, the series begins when Ted’s moment of glory has already passed and he finds himself living in Framingham, Massachusetts, with his best friend, sixteen-year-old John Bennett, together with the latter’s parents, Matty and Susan, and cousin Blaire. Ted has a terrible influence on John, but he is a loyal and faithful friend always willing to sacrifice himself for his friendship.
The cast of the series includes Max Burkholder, Scott Grimes, Alanna Ubach e Georgia Whigham. Ted creator Seth MacFarlane also directed and wrote the screenplay for the series, as well as serving as co-showrunner and executive producer, alongside Paul Corrigan e Brad Walsh. The other executive producers are Erica Huggins, Alana Kleiman, Jason Clark e Aimee Carlson for the Fuzzy Door Productions.

Already from the first images of the trailer we find the irreverent Ted, in the company of his lifelong friend John, then sixteen years old. The two will have to juggle school life which puts the boy to the test. The newly released trailer was preceded a few days ago by a teaser. The series will consist of six episodes, lasting 30 minutes, except the first which will have a longer duration.
