The rebranding of the PlayStation Plus service is still a few months away, but some games seem to have been loaded. A Reddit user (called The_Andshrew) has in fact discovered that five historical video games have appeared on the back-end servers of PlayStation Network which are Tekken 2, Mr. Driller, Worms Armageddon and Worms World Party (all dating back to PS1) in addition to Ridge Racers 2 (directly from PSP). These could therefore be the first titles that will appear on the new PS Plus announced by Sony last month.
What do we know about the new games coming to PlayStation Plus
Although nothing has been confirmed yet, the datamine does not lie. The screenshots show the images of the titles in question which therefore, presumably, will be the first video games to be launched on the new and rebranded service. At the moment we know in fact the new PS Plus will provide three levels of subscription, for a total of over 700 titles in the catalog. In particular, the Premium subscription will include historical games directly from PS1, PS2 and PSP, at a cost of € 16.99 per month. However, it will be possible to subscribe to the quarterly (€ 49.99) and annual (€ 119.99) plan.
The new service will arrive in Asia in the coming weeks and in Europe on June 22. In the meantime, however, a leak has revealed the May titles on PlayStation Plus. These include:
- FIFA 22 for PS5 and PS4
- Curse of the Dead Gods per PS4
- Tribes of Midgard per PS5 e PS4
