Eyes on Telegram Premium, the subscription version of the well-known messaging service. On the other hand, in recent months the App has met with quite a remarkable success, thanks also to Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. Not surprisingly, it is above all the Russians who prefer Telegram as a communication tool, given that the Government has chosen to ban Meta, the parent company of WhatsApp.
Pavel Durov, founder of Telegram, recently published a long post on his personal channel, explicitly announcing that the Premium version will have “additional features, speed and resources”. In fact, among the novelties there will also be the possibility of transfer files of the maximum size higher at 2GB. As well as that of accessing exclusive adhesives and reactionsand for subscribers. As you can imagine, these will be options available only to users who decide to subscribe.
But how much could Telegram Premium really cost? According to what was leaked on the Net, the price of the monthly subscription should be around $ 4.99 per month. A fairly small figure if we think about the possible features to which it guarantees access. Clearly, subscribers will have fewer limits on the options available to them, but that doesn’t mean they’ll be able to do whatever they want. “The problem is that if we removed all limits for all users, the cost of our servers and our traffic would become unmanageable, and therefore the party would unfortunately end for everyone,” says Durov.
At this point, however, we just have to wait for the Premium version of the App to become available. When? Almost surely by June.
