Apple has officially released, after a long period of beta testing, the first public version of TestFlight via macOS Monterey. The app allows developers to test beta versions of apps before release. The announcement of the new app had arrived in recent months and today, after a long wait, the first public version of the app for macOS is finally available.

With TestFlight, developers can invite up to 10 thousand users to try the application betas for macOS. In this way, it will be possible to obtain feedback precise on the use of the app and highlight the presence of bugs and malfunctions.
The invitation to users can be sent by the developers via e-mail or via a link. Apple will collect logs of various beta app builds. The collected data will be used by the developer to improve the app and by Apple itself to improve its products and services.
Recall that Apple bought TestFlight, previously available on Android and iOS, in 2014.
