The FIA has released the calendar for the 2025 F1 season, with some surprises and the usual certainties
It was made official on calendar for the 2025 F1 season. What the season will be number 75 since it is called Formula 1, it will see some returns as in past years followed by the usual confirmations. One of the most significant changes concerns the season opener that will take place in Australia, in Melbourne, March 16th. This marks the return to the tradition of starting the season in Australia, a practice that had been the norm on horseback between 1996 and 2019 with the exceptions of the 2006 and 2010 seasons. Il Bahrainwhich opened the season in recent years, he will now move to the fourth GPscheduled for April 13, to avoid overlaps with the month of Ramadan, which in 2025 will be between February 28 and March 29.
After Australia, the Formula 1 caravan will head to Chinese for the second stage of the calendar, followed by Japan as the third round. Saudi Arabia, however, will move to April 20thagain due to the holidays of Ramadan.

F1 calendar 2025: the other dates
The European season will kick off with Imola Grand Prix on May 18th and it will end on 7 September in Monza, the famous temple of speed. Next, Formula 1 will stop in Baku, in Azerbaijan, for a race positioned between the Old Continent and Asia. The final Grand Prix of the season is scheduled for December 7 in Abu Dhabithus confirming the tradition of concluding the championship in the Middle East.
The calendar for 2025 confirms all the stages and events of 2023, including the three Grands Prix in the United States and the return of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which will see the start of the race on Saturday, following local time. These previews portend a compelling and exciting season for all Formula 1 fans, with Lewis Hamilton ready to start his new adventure with Ferrari and many other drivers and teams ready to compete for glory and success on tracks around the world.
