Let’s take a look at the highly anticipated trailer of The Boogeyman, the new adaptation, based on one of Stephen King’s horror works
Finally the wait is over, The Boogeymanthe new film based on the work of Stephen King and published for the first time in 1973, will soon see the light. To pass the wait, the trailer has finally been made available. Initially foreseen only in streaming, a sudden change of course will lead the film to debut also in Italian cinemas. Were you afraid of monsters hiding under your bed as a child? Judging by those who might infest them according to Stephen King, you were right to fear them. We get a taste of it in trailers on The Boogeyman, which has as its protagonist a little girl, grappling with a mysterious and terrifying creature that wanders around her room every night.

Still reeling from the tragic death of their mother, a teenage girl and her little brother find themselves haunted by a sadistic presence in their home and fight to get their grieving father to pay attention to them before it’s too late.
He cast
They will take part in the film Sophie Thatcher (Yellowjackets, 2021), Chris Messina (Birds of Prey, 2020) e David Dastmalchian (Dunes, 2021). By their side Marin Ireland (The Umbrella Academy, 2020-2022), Vivien Lyra Blair (Obi-Wan Kenobi, 2022) e Madison Hu (Voyagers, 2021). The screenplay was written by Scott Beck, Bryan Woods (already authors of A Quiet Place, 2020) e Akela Cooper (Malignant, 2021) and subsequently also by Mark Heyman (The Black Swan, 2010). The film will be distributed by 20th Century Studios.
The Boogeyman, which will be released in theaters on June 2, it won’t be the only Stephen King adaptation we’ll have the pleasure of seeing this year. Fans of the American writer will be able to consider themselves lucky in this 2023, because also Salem Nights (‘Salem’s Lot) will be transposed, although it does not yet have a precise date.
Although there will be a few more months to wait, some rumors are already making fans tremble. In fact, it would seem that we are talking about The Boogeyman as one of Stephen King’s best adaptationsby the same author.
