Here is the trailer for the Dandadan anime, an upcoming series that should be released in 2024 on a still unknown platform
One of the most popular manga series of the moment will soon have an animated adaptation. This is Dandadan, the manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, which will become an anime edited by Science Saru. The release is scheduled for 2024but the first trailer definitely leaves us hopeful.
Fūga Yamashiro (assistant director of Tatami Time Machine Blues) will direct the anime at Science SARU, e Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan The Final Season, Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, Mob Psycho 100) will supervise and write the scripts for the series. The composer Kensuke Ushio (Chainsaw Man, Liz and the Blue Bird) will instead handle the soundtrack. Naoyuki Then (Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway, Berserk: The Golden Age Arc) will design the characters, while Yoshimichi Kameda (Mob Psycho 100) will design the aliens and supernatural entities.
The Dandadan event at Jump Festa 2024 will provide more news on the anime, including the cast, on December 16.

Dandadan is a series that mixes science fiction, horror and romance, telling the adventures of two high school students who become interested in paranormal phenomena. Momo Ayase believes in spirits, but not aliens. Her friend, who she calls Okarun, is instead a UFO enthusiast, but does not believe in ghosts. The two decide to test their beliefs by visiting haunted places or sightings of flying saucers. What they will discover will be a reality full of aliens and very particular spirits, and also of an unexpected mutual attraction.
The trailer of the anime shows us the characteristic graphic style of Dandadan, faithfully reproduced by the Science Saru team. The bright colors and detailed drawings do justice to Tatsu’s original work. The trailer also introduces us to the protagonists and some of the secondary characters they will meet on their journey.
