As in the fifth chapter of Skyrim, leveling up will also be managed in the same way in The Elder Scrolls 6: word of Bruce Nesmith
While Bethesda’s latest effort, Starfield, will continue to receive support we also have confirmation from The Elder Scrolls 6: the system of level increasespecifically, will remain similar to what we saw in Skyrim. Having now moved from pre-production to early development, the game still has much more to reveal, and even Microsoft isn’t sure of its exclusivity period (especially given what it has recently reiterated about partnerships). We know of a possible release date in the next five years, but the ex-Bethesda Bruce Nesmith shared some salient details in the interview we reported below. Let’s talk about both the video and the highlight in question, since our link gets straight to the point (for English speakers, of course).
A level up in every sense: The Elder Scrolls VI draws from Skyrim
“The entire magic system for Skyrim is out of the picture,” Nesmith begins,” I personally talked Todd into this. The whole ‘doing it to get better’ thing… it wasn’t really my idea, but I contributed a lot… and it will continue. A lot of the concepts about leveling and whatnot will implement new ideas, but I bet a lot of what I’ve been working on will show up in the new one as well.” Nesmith, who left Bethesda two years ago when Starfield was still in development, has not revealed who knows what, given the mass of evergreen concepts that the development team always keeps on hand. However, it could be the last chapter of the saga developed by Todd Howard. We will keep you posted.
