Event Producer and Presenter Geoff Keighley announced the date of the 2021 The Game Awards ceremony via Twitter
The Tokyo Game Show is moving towards its conclusion and after the Xbox and Capcom conferences that took place yesterday, today is the turn of Square Enix, which had already unveiled its line up a few days ago. With the closure of the Tokyo Game Show 2021, the end of the year is also approaching, and it is therefore time for again videogame awards par excellence: The Game Awards. It will not only be a consecrated place to decree the game of the year, but a real stage for new presentations and, why not, some particularly pleasant surprises.
The ceremony began in 2014, and has gradually grown in popularity and attention from both the public and the developers themselves. Last year, for example, a dozen new games were unveiled and the most observant will surely expect a new trailer for BioWare’s upcoming Dragon Age (there has always been, always). In the past few hours, Geoff Keighley has revealed the starting date for this year’s event via his official Twitter profile.

The ceremony of the The Game Awards 2021 andrà in onda in live da Microsoft Theater di Los Angeles (there will obviously also be live streaming) next December 9th. Obviously it’s still too early to make any kind of speculation, of course, but the presenter himself has raised the hype bar by heralding “a global celebration of video game culture”.
