The soulslike inspired by the Chinese fairy tale Journey to the West has a release date, thanks to the trailer for Black Myth: Wukong at the Game Awards
Outside of new announcements such as the promising Exodus and The Casting of Frank Stone, the reveals of the Game Awards they even gave us one exit date with the last one trailer del soulslike Black Myth: Wukong. The game has been making waves since its announcement, and the hype has only increased with each subsequent showing. During tonight’s ceremony we got another look at the title, and the development team Game Science it was generous with gameplay as well as giving us that crucial information to get us on our calendars. In addition to the game’s aggressive and fast combat and many varied enemies, the video also showed the bosses we will have to overcome.

If you’ve seen the trailer above, you’ll also already know what the release date is for Black Myth: Wukong. If not, we reserve the right to keep the suspense for a few more lines. The primary source of inspiration, in case the ape-man’s name didn’t make it clear, is the Chinese fairy tale The Journey to the West, in which a humanoid chimpanzee undertakes the eponymous journey armed with his staff. If the premise sounds familiar, it’s because this cornerstone of Eastern culture inspired another much better known one: Dragon Ball. As for the numbers to play the lottery, Game Science has confirmed that the game will be released on PC, Xbox Series August 20th.
