Clive and his slashing company ride the DLC wave: here is the trailer for The Rising Tide, the future expansion of Final Fantasy 16
In the past few months Square-Enix confirmed to be working on two expansions Of Final Fantasy 16 (for purists, XVI), and while the first DLC received one shadow dropin addition to the surprising availability of Echoes of the Fallen we also have a announcement trailer per The Rising Tide. The first of the two, in fact, is now available both for purchase and for download and use. As for the companion, the release is scheduled for primavera 2024. Both expansions will focus on Clive and company, dramatically expanding both the lore and the world of Valisthea. The presentation video in question is subject to age restrictions, which is why we preferred to bypass it with a tweet.

The Rising Tide, the surprise DLC wave in the Final Fantasy 16 trailer
Speaking of business, Square-Enix also confirmed that both DLC in the announcement trailer above (both Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide) can be purchased as a combo in expansion pass of Final Fantasy 16. And we don’t mean “business” from an expense point of view, but also from the savings from your part. The complete package, in fact, is currently discounted. The base game, which we reviewed, is available at PS5 with a PC version currently in development.
