The lands of Monster Hunter promise to become boundless in Wilds, fresh from the announcement at the Game Awards: we show you the first trailer
The richness of content of the latest ones Game Awards allowed us to rediscover existing IPs with The Casting of Frank Stone, but “sometimes they come back” and the announcement trailer per Monster Hunter: Wilds reminds us that too Capcom has something to say. At this point it could be the title with which the publisher hoped to cause a sensation in the coming year, if it weren’t for the fact that the expected release period is 2025 (are PC, Xbox Series X, PS5 ed Xbox Series S) supporting the Dusk Golem hypothesis. Anyway, next summer we will have more details. However, we can already see new mechanics, to the detriment of mounts similar to what we saw in Rise. However, we could not see anything about the fighting.
The “monstrous” announcement of the Monster Hunter: Wilds trailer
The Monster Hunter: Wilds steed is great for jumping around, then, but equally the announcement trailer skips those salient details about the combat system we were hoping for. Not bad, however, given the spectacular nature of the potentially dangerous ones climatic effects. Thunderbolts aside, the game world seems to significantly surpass its predecessor World, but whether it is open-world (sorry for the inadvertent pun) remains to be seen. What is certain is that at the end of the video we can see Rathalos, for those who loved and hated him over the course of the series (and in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a boss, given that the fighting game promises new features in January). We will have more details on this later, with the arrival of the summer.
