OD, Kojima’s new game created in collaboration with Xbox Game Studios, was announced during The Game Awards 2023
It is now tradition to see Hideo Kojima making his usual annual appearance on stage at The Game Awards. The Japanese developer has long been a great friend of Geoff Keighley and as a result it is no surprise to see him at the event.
Surely many people expected Kojima to show up to show something new about Death Stranding 2, but in reality this was not the case. In fact, it was a surprise announced ODa completely new title created in collaboration with Xbox Game Studios.
With OD Kojima wants to create something completely new
Surely many of you will remember the fact that some time ago Kojima was interested in exploiting the cloud technology from Microsoft for a new project. Now this project has finally been announced but, in true Kojima style, the reveal was not at all clear on the nature of the title.
OD is a new title horror which according to the developer wants to aim to offer players something never seen before. Kojima also stated that the title will be a cross between a video game and a filmand it may even be part of an entirely different medium.
