The Globe Awards will continue to exist and be awarded despite the demise of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, thanks to Dick Clark Productions and Todd Boehly’s Eldridge. In fact, the organization that was made up of foreign journalists who worked in the United States in the field of entertainment and who awarded the coveted prizes each year (pin many ways precursors of the Oscars) the Golden Globes will continue to exist.

The new owners have obtained all the rights and properties related to the famous film and television award. There nuova Golden Globe Foundation will advance the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s history in entertainment-related charities and plan, host and produce the annual Golden Globe Awards. We already know that the 81st edition of the awards will take place Sunday 7 January 2024. Helen Hoehne, president of the HFPA, said:
We are thrilled to close this highly anticipated, member-approved transaction and transition from a member-led organization to a commercial enterprise.
