The Google Home App for Wear OS finally available
With the launch of the Pixel Watch, the tech giant has made the Google Home App for Wear OS available in the Play Store. This means that all users own a smartwatch with Wear OS 3 o versioni successive they can finally download it to their device. But be careful, because it is a one public preview version, therefore able to offer a series of rather limited controls. Despite this, the App allows you to access all the rooms configured from the home screen, so you can manage smart devices quickly and easily.
FINALLY! The Google Home app for Wear OS is now available!
Sadly, it only works on Wear OS 3 and above. I tried sideloading it onto a Wear OS 2 watch, but it failed because it requires SDK version 30 and above (Android 11+). pic.twitter.com/gUUXp4ytko

Directly from the smartwatch it will be possible to adjust the brightness of the lights, the volume of the speakers or other multimedia devices, and the temperature of the thermostats. Or, if you prefer, you can also turn the devices on or off. Beyond that, the Wear OS App doesn’t allow you to do much else right now, and deferring to using your smartphone for any additional control. And it is unclear whether Google will work to increase the application’s functionality. In any case, one thing is certain: the promise of an App for Wear OS has been kept.
