The new The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles collection, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Steam, brings players to wacky witnesses and delightful deductions. The game is available digitally on all platforms. The highly anticipated collection includes previous titles and a new digital bundle.
A collection of The Great Ace Attorney is released
The new collection of the game, called Chronicles, provides for the re-edition of The Great Ace Attorney 2, Resolve e Adventures. These, previously only available in Japan, will finally be playable by Western users as well. Chronicles is already available for all lovers of court adventures, for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 consoles as well as on Steam. A digital bundle will also be available for the same platforms.
The game is set in the late 19th century during the Japanese Meiji period and the British Victorian era. The title follows an aspiring Japanese attorney named Ryunosuke Naruhodo, an ancestor of the court legend Phoenix Wright. With the help of his lawyer, Susato Mikotoba, and the great London detective Herlock Sholmes, Ryunosuke must test his skills as a lawyer to unravel the mysteries behind 10 compelling cases.

In addition to the classic gameplay that Ace Attorney fans love, Chronicles introduces new gameplay mechanics. These include the Dance of Deduction and Summation Examination. During the investigation, players will engage in an exuberant “Dance of Deduction” with Herlock, where they must rein in the detective’s overzealous deductions to uncover the true facts of the case. Classroom battles are also returning with a new twist. In addition to presenting evidence and questioning witnesses, players will take part in “Summary Exams” where they will have to highlight inconsistencies between jurors’ statements in order to continue the case.
New to the Ace Attorney series is Story Mode, which allows players to sit back and watch the game’s compelling story without having to do any additional detective work. The collection also includes newly recorded English voices, giving players the option to experience the game’s audio in English or Japanese with English subtitles.
