L’iPhone 15 Pro e l’iPhone 15 Pro Max next generation Apple will have a price increase of the previous Pro models. This was stated by Jeff Pu, a technology analyst at the Hong Kong-based investment firm Haitong International Securities.
The price of the iPhone 15 Pro will go up compared to that of the iPhone X
Jeff Pu stated that the iPhone 15 Pro models will have a price increase due to the various hardware updates. Including a titanium chassis, solid-state buttons with haptic feedback from extra Taptic motors, an A17 Bionic chip, increased RAM, a periscope lens for increased optical zoom on the Pro Max model, and more.
It is not the first time that there have been rumors about the price increase, we will have to see if in the end Apple will decide to raise the figure. In the US, the Pro model has been priced at $999 since the iPhone X was released in 2017. The Pro Max has been priced at $1,099 since the iPhone XS Max launched the following year. Instead, in the UK, for example, the iPhone 14 Pro starts at £1,099, compared to £949 for the iPhone 13 Pro.
You have to take that into consideration too inflation rates that are exceeding the average. Apple has managed to keep starting prices unchanged for six consecutive generations of Pro models, but eventually prices will likely need to rise for the company to maintain its profit margins.
It’s unclear whether the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus would also see a price increase over the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, which start at $799 and $899, respectively.
The new colors of the iPhone 15
The possible color that could characterize the new special edition color planned for the new iPhone 15 Pro which is expected to be released this fall has been revealed. We are talking about the dark red colour.
Instead, as regards the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus, we are talking about two of the color options under test: the blue and the pink. However, this information has not yet been confirmed and may change as we get closer to the release of the iPhone 15 this fall.
