Monolith is hiring new staff for some projects: the thought can only go to The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2
Monolith Soft, the famous software house owned by Nintendo, is probably most famous for its Xenoblade series, the spiritual successors of Xenosaga, who was itself a spiritual successor to Xenogears. Nevertheless, the studio in question has also assisted other Nintendo studios in the most disparate projects. To name a few, Monolith provided support for Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2 and Animal Crossing: New Horizons and now there seems to be some news for the software house in question (and the historic fantasy saga of Nintendo which has as its protagonist the heroic Link). The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2: how long will we have to wait before the official announcement?
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the firm we’re telling you about recently announced it was hiring for a “great new big department“At his offices located in Kyoto. In addition to this, there were also new job advertisements for 14 open positions in six different roles. The company appears to list more than 50 openings on its website, and while most aren’t related to any games, five are listed specifically for The Legend of Zelda, which you can probably read “Breath of the Wild 2“.
Monolith has grown significantly in recent years. The newly opened Tokyo expansion offers the studio four locations across Japan, with approx 270 employees divided among them. That’s 50 more than last year’s study. If Monolith can complete the current round of hiring, the firm will likely accommodate more than 300 people.
Regarding Breath of the Wild 2, probably, we will have to wait a while now we are resigned. Nintendo announced the game in June of 2019, but we have no idea when it will come out and in the recent announcement of the Skyward Sword remastered it was reported by Eiji Anouma in person that there will be a wait for what is perhaps currently the most anticipated title of the Kyoto house.
