When it was officially announced, in the now increasingly distant 2019, the new title inspired by Tolkien’s mythology was expected to be released in the course of 2021. But in that year only a trailer was finally released during the TGA ceremony, as the title was postponed to the following year. Since then, however, it seems that the plans have changed again, with the game having been postponed again “to a date to be defined”. Now, after various vicissitudes, maybe we’re finally here because it seems that The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum has a release period.
Release date revealed for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum
The stealth title developed by the guys from Daedalic Entertainment has had its work cut out among the various postponements. However, it seems that 2023 could be the right year for the latest effort by the German studio. From some documents that emerged on the net, concerning the fiscal year of Nacon, it seems that the release period of The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum has emerged, which should arrive on PC and console (both of the present and past gen) within the year.
According to these documents, reference is made to a launch window which should go from April to September 2023, obviously subject to the announcement of a further postponement. It must be said that a precise official launch date is still missing, and therefore to be more certain it will be necessary to wait for an official announcement from the developers, but there seem to be good intentions to be optimistic about the situation.
