This year, in March, the third season of The Mandalorian debuted on Disney+, the much-loved series about the Mandalorian Din Djarin, played by Pedro Pascal. The third season came out exactly a few weeks before Star Wars Celebration of London where Lucasfilm announced a new trilogy and new TV series coming in the future. Unfortunately, however, as we well know, the production faced two strikes: first that of the screenwriters and then that of the actors, which were resolved after months of pause, inevitably delaying the releases and work of many films and TV series, Star Wars included.
The aftermath of the strike leads to The Mandalorian movie
Of course, the strikes have greatly worsened the production of the projects announced by Lucasfilm on the new trilogy and on the TV series from the world of Star Wars, but was it necessarily a bad thing? For The Mandalorian it seems not. In fact, although these events in the history of cinema have greatly aggravated the production of many products, at the same time the strikes have made the fortune of The Mandalorian.
