Google still renews the user interface of the desktop version of Gmail. At the beginning of 2022, in fact, the American house had presented the new interface that went to in integrate other Google services, such as Chat and Meet, even more effectively. Today, however, the company announced that the new interface will be the new standard version of Gmail. Here are all the details about the new features that will characterize Gmail:
Gmail’s new customizable interface becomes “standard”
As announced today by Google, the new Gmail interface becomes “standard”. In the new version, presented at the beginning of the year and available on desktop PC through any web browser, Gmail has a sidebar on the left with quick links to Meet, Chat and Spaces. In this way, Gmail becomes a real operations center, with quick links to all the main Google services that will be just a click away.
To activate this new interface, if not yet active, just click on the gear icon at the top right of Gmail and choose the Customize option. Here you can choose whether or not to display Meet and Chat in the left column, next to incoming emails. The new version of Gmail will be available in a few weeks and for all Workspace users except Workspace Essentials.
